Project eYacht is the personal journey of two Australian physicists designing and building a solar electric catamaran.

It started with finding a high speed, low weight cruising catamaran with room for a liveaboard family and a large solar array. It culminated in our designing of an electric propulsion system and electrical architecture as well as coding the control software and user interface.

Lucky we are geeks who like a challenge because we set the bar high!
